Iman El Banhawy has vast experience with multicultural differences and languages. She has a deep respect for people from all backgrounds and cultures and she is honoured to be of service to the network.

El Banhawy is senior diplomat with over 25 years of experience in international relations, she speaks four languages fluently and have been posted to Sarajevo, Bosnia and Herzegovina where she had the privilege to meet and learn from the different communities about the war and how they lived through it and what concessions they had to make to live in peace.

She has also directed francophone affairs and the central west Africa bureau within the ministry allowing her to work with west and Central African countries and deal with their political crises.

She hopes that she can bring her experience to bear, and to help others resolve conflicts.
