Over the years, I have served in various capacities, Prime Minster Office including as an Independent Consultant and Monitoring & Evaluation Expert, working with international organizations such as the International Organization for Migration (IOM), the Danish Refugee Council, International Medical Corps, Handicapped International, Crisis Management Initiative (CMI) and (UNHCR). My work has focused on protecting displaced populations, fostering resilience among vulnerable communities, and facilitating dialogue and mediation in conflict-affected areas.

In 2017, I became a Fellow of Women in Conflict 1325 with Beyond Borders Scotland, where I honed my skills in negotiation, transitional justice, and peacemaking, and in 2022 I got a certificate from CLingedael Academy – Netherlands on Mediation for African Women. Additionally, as a Deputy for the Libyan Women Union in Tripoli, I have advocated for inclusive governance and gender-responsive policies at the national level.

These roles have not only equipped me with technical expertise in conflict prevention but have also instilled a profound understanding of the social, cultural, and political nuances necessary for sustainable peace. My extensive on-the-ground experience, coupled with my academic background in social work, makes me uniquely positioned to contribute. Additionally, my extensive involvement with AFRICAN UNION’s OBSERVATIONS ELECTIONS TEAMS DELEGATIONS.

My Topical expertise in Libya after 2011 regarding the war and the continued influences in different cities, from my possession as a (coordinator of women working group in Peacemaking) with CMI and a Member of FemWise-Africa in Prevention Conflict and Mediation in addition of leading projects with Maaha for Woman Rights Organization and Libyan women union/ Tripoli gave me the chances to:
• Reconciliation, encouraged the Police Women from the Former Regime to return back to work (field visits and meetings East and South of Libya including the ministry of Interior).
• Design and conducted survey on the Participation of women in Transitional Justice all over libya face-to-face.
• Implemented workshops on (Transitional Justice is the gateway to Social Stabilizatio) in different cities.
• Raising the awareness on 1325 UN Resolution to Yother.
• The importance of economic sector in bringing Peace to conflict areas by indirect messages. Implemented a project on Reactivating the Rural Development Centers which were damaged after 2011, the project was for vulnerable women and their Sons who are joining the Militias to withdraw and return back to their farmers, the project was at most conflict city -Zawia (50 k.m) west of Tripoli.
• Conducted the Elections Observation with Africa Union at Zimbabwe, Egypt and Tunisia.
• Conducted a training on Negotiations and Mediation for African Women at Clingedeal Academy- Netherlands.
