Hala Charif Alchach is a Syrian higher education expert, business woman and freelance consultant on issues related to human resources management, conflict resolution, talents acquisitions women and youth empowerment, women political participation, peace processes and mediation. She is a professional trainer in many field of management and soft skills. She took part in developing many training manuals.

She holds a doctorate degree of business administration major HRM (DBA),Master degree of business administration (MBA), Diploma in pedagogies and education qualifications from Damascus University and a bachelor degree of literature from Damascus University.

Dr. Alchach has helped found several civil society organizations in Syria. She is very active at the national and the international level. She has a long-standing commitment to Syrian civil society organizations in advancing the role of women and youth in society in Syria.

Hala is a strong advocate for young women’s full participation in political process, decision making, economic development and peace building. She is leading many initiatives to empower Syrian women educationally, economically and socially. Dr.Alchach is a member of The Women s Advisory Board (WAB) to the UN special envoy for Syria, advises on all matters related to the political process including its gender aspects.

She further led several early recovery programs to empower citizens and local communities to survive current Syrian crisis.
