Haneen is a Syrian activist and community leader. She became a member of the Syrian Women’s Advisory Board WAB in 2024, after more than a decade of civil activity. She is committed to engaging in public affairs, community leadership, peace building and advocacy for women’s issues. As an expert in training, mediation, context analysis, and socio-geopolitical studies of conflict zones, she becomes a civil expert with numerous national organizations and local teams.
Haneen holds a bachelor’s degree in civil engineering and a Diploma in International & Diplomatic Relations. Her Graduation research was on “National Reconciliation in Syria–Transitional Justice” in 2019. Furthermore, she is a graduate of the Syrian Young Leaders Program at the Friedrich Ebert Foundation in Beirut in 2019.
She is the Chairwoman and founder of Sho3a3, she lunched Sho3a3 in her city Homs as a civil assembly after the fall of regime to protect the civil pace and build new young local leaders and to refuse all kind of sectarian division.
Haneen is a member of the Civil Society Support Room CSSR and She won the analytical essay contest on the dynamic Russian- Syrian relation with the Primakov International Cooperation Center in 2023.
Haneen possesses technical knowledge and practical experience. She designed and facilitated many workshops and dialogue sessions on various topics in all Syrian areas.
