Jovana Marjanović is a peacebuilder and advocate for women’s empowerment, with an academic and professional background in political science and conflict resolution. She is a master’s student in Area and Global Studies for International Cooperation (specialization in the MENA region) from the University of Torino and holds a Bachelor’s degree in Political Science from the University of Belgrade. Additionally, she has completed the OCN Level 2 Conflict Resolution & Mediation Certificate from TIDES Training & Consultancy in Belfast, equipping her with essential mediation skills.

She has experience as a language educator, having taught English, Italian, and Serbian in various educational institutions. Jovana has been an active participant in international programs such as the OSCE Dialogue Academy for Young Women, the Feminism and Religion (FER) School and “Gender and Globalization” School in Bosnia and Herzegovina, and the International Youth Media Summit in Zanzibar, where she produced a short film on women’s rights.

Jovana is currently engaged as a Local Consultant and an educator for the OSCE-supported project, the Academy of Language and Culture (AoLC), that fosters intercultural dialogue between Serbian and Albanian youth through language learning and cultural exchange. This expertise enables her to contribute to the Network’s mission, particularly in the Balkans and MENA regions, by supporting cross-cultural understanding and collaboration Jovana is an active member of the Dialogue Academy Network of Alumnae (DANA) an all women peacebuilding organization supported by the OSCE Mission to Serbia and the OSCE Mission in Kosovo.
