The Mediterranean Women Mediators Network has participated in a CSW69 (Commission on the Status of Women) side-event on “Taking Stock of the Beijing Declaration and Platform for Action Through the Implementation of the Women, Peace, and Security (WPS) and Youth, Peace, and Security (YPS) Agendas” on 12 March 2025 at the UN Headquarters in New York. The event has been promoted, among the others, by the Permanent Representation of Italy to the United Nations in New York and the African Union.
Loredana Teodorescu, the Head of the MWMN, represented the Network bringing its experience and underlying the role and the importance of the regional women mediators networks.
